Planning For Float Fest

In less than two weeks it will time for another summer festival – Float Fest!

If you somehow aren’t familiar with Float Fest, it occurs every summer in the lovely city of San Marcos, Tx, offering the chance to go tubing with your best buds before the performances start at 2. p.m. Different from more traditional festivals, this one allows you to have your cake and eat it, too. Festival goers have the option to spend the morning tubing in the San Marcos river, a common past time down south, camping the night away after the festival, and enjoying performances in the later afternoon/evening.

All Of Our Favorites From Hangout Fest 2018

Hangout Fest was hands down the best music festival I’ve been to thus far: the lineup, the hangs, the hospitality, THE BEACH! Everything down to the last detail was perfect and added up to a fun experience that I would never trade for anything. Driving eight hours from Houston to Gulf Shores on an incredibly tight budget was worth it.

Coachella’s allure starts with the location: the desert sky, the mountains in the background dotted by art installations, the hot but dry weather, it’s truly beautiful.

Coachella, the master festival that kicks off the season. Coachella is extremely expensive and notorious for their difficult tickets and crowds of social media influencers. This year it’s also known for one of the sickest lineups out there. Samantha and I will be covering the madness both weekends so make sure to follow along on Instagram @thenewnine9.

My 2018 SXSW Diary

SXSW is hell week, but in a good way. This year I was planning a day party (girls to the front) as well as doing press which means a ton of interviews every day and getting videos and live-tweeting. I drink 5 hour energies nonstop and think all together I ate 3 slices of pizza for the 7 days total and I walked more than I’ve ever walked. It’s exhausting but so rewarding.
