Coachella is truly a magical festival. The sprawling scene is so large that my friend’s Fitbit countered over 20 miles that we walked. Coachella’s allure starts with the location: the desert sky, the mountains in the background dotted by art installations, the hot but dry weather, it’s truly beautiful.
Believe it or not, you’ve heard Maty Noyes and her ridiculous talent. You probably just didn’t know it. Prior to releasing her own EP, the singer/songwriter worked with some pretty familiar names. Not only did she write “Stay” with her collaboration with Kygo, but she’s also the sultry voice you hear in The Weeknd’s “Angel.”
I think a better question would be what didn’t go wrong with the meadows? I mean seriously this was the worst festival I have ever been too. I will say this is the festival’s first year but they are owned by Founder’s Entertainment, the same company that also puts on The Governor’s Ball Musical Festival that was founded in 2011.
