emilytreadgold #1, New 9 Tracks

Tedy has the voice of an angel, his songs are so vulnerable and so beautiful. His new song "Boys Don't Cry" is emotionally-charged and details the artist's journey through fear, sadness, acceptance, and finally empowerment. It tells the tale of always having your guard up, showing no weakness, only to realize the strength in your own vulnerability.

Aluna, Princess Nokia, and Jada Kingdom join forces to demand equal payment in the form of a super-catchy track.

‘Get Paid’ “is an aspirational celebration about black women and women of color getting paid, in opposition of the reality that we are consistently undervalued for our work.” Aluna explains. “On the other hand, this is a song about believing we deserve to get paid because as society keeps telling us we are worthless, we internalize that notion, which is almost more damaging because it stops us from advocating for ourselves."

Chaz Cardigan is one of our favorite up-and-comers and he's always releasing the catchiest songs.

“‘Everything’s Wrong’ is about not letting a breakdown keep you broken down. There’s liberation in feeling low because things can only get better,” explains Chaz Cardigan. “On ‘Not OK!’ and ‘S.O.S.’ I’ve been talking about repeating cycles and wanting to break them. ‘Everything’s Wrong’ is what it feels like for a cycle to actually break – to say ‘okay, on to the next thing!’ It’s me saying, ‘I accept the chaos, I accept that everything is always changing. I’m going to ride the dragon and change with everything around me.’”
