emilytreadgold #1, New 9 Tracks

Blu DeTiger was always a rockstar, the bass prodigy cut her teeth in the music world. Playing in bands, DJing in New York, and really hit her stride on Tik Tok. This Album shows off her musicianship but also her ability to write insane hooks and relatable lyrics. This projects effortlessly blends funk, disco, and alt-pop in a way that shows off her skills. She deserves the whole world and I think this is the start of a huge star in the making.
Lily Kincade is definitely an artist to watch. The dreamy, synthy intro to this song brings to mind the perfect coming-of-age movie and you're the main character. Her gentle voice serves as the perfect narration for the worst birthday of all time. The build leading up to the chorus just feels like a cathartic release. It's just SO shimmery, I can't get enough.

awfultune's new song "SICK OF U" is totally resonating with us right now.

She says, "I've experienced and felt both of these feelings before [in ‘lovesick' and ‘SICK OF U’], from not being able to get someone out of your head to things turning sour and wanting them out of your life forever,” says Layla Eden, “I'm a firm believer that you have the right to cut off anyone that's unhealthy for you. You don't need to carry the resentment you feel towards those toxic people in life that keep you around just to toy with your heart."
