Leah Capelle is fearless. Her songs recent songs “Docs” and “Settle Down” show that she isn’t worried about putting feminism into her music, and that’s something we can get behind. Leah is honest with her experience and there’s nothing holding her back. How did you get started in music? I was raised by a retired classical soprano who serenaded me …
Gunnar Gehl is the 17 year old, teen pop heartthrob, singer songwriter, you didn’t know you needed. He just finished touring with PRETTYMUCH last year and is now dropping music of his own. He’s so attentive to detail and all of it is very evident in his songs. We area already loving “Ocean Blue” and “Outta My Mind” and we …
Jenna Raine has the sweetest voice and her songs are dripping in honesty, her vulnerable lyrics and ability to write from the heart definitely make her one to watch. She just finished her tour with Max & Harvey and is bound to be the next big thing.

I got to speak with the group about their upcoming EP and their dynamic personalities are just as exciting as their single. Check out “Options” today and start anticipating their upcoming EP because I know I am!

Karolina has crafted …
Spencer Ludwig definitely has a unique sound, and that gets tossed around a lot, but how many pop artists do you know can bust out a trumpet during their performance?
I’ve been listening to Lord Huron for a couple of years now and I honestly didn’t know if it could get much better than their 2015 album, Strange Trails. I fell in love with the romantic yet macabre tales they spun and how atmospheric their sound was. Now Vide Noir has come out and I feel like I’ve been on a cosmic journey across the MIlky Way ever since.
Keaton Simons’ voice is unique to me in that it provides familiarity. Each song kind of takes you back to a particular time in your life. For me, it’s a feeling of being home. After moving across the country, his music kind of gave me a nostalgic feel.
Shadow of Whales is unlike any other band I’ve seen in Austin, and I’ve seen a lot of bands. I remember I was at a night at local-hang Cheer-Up Charlies when this colorful, energetic band caught my attention.
*repeat repeat is sure to be on repeat (get it??) in your mind after you listen to their addictive beats. I spoke with frontman, Jared Corder, about the group’s beginnings and their new music. The group is comprised of Andy Herrin (drummer) and Kristyn Corder (vocalist/keys), and Jared, of course.
