“Three psychos that came to be through fate by way of necessity.” That’s how B Boys describe themselves on Facebook. They’re absolutely dynamic on stage. I saw them at Sidewinder on a hot night in Austin and they were absolutely captivating. We talked about long drives, Denton, TX, and the inspiration behind their new album Dada.

If Jimmy Fallon’s a fan of your work, then you know you’re special. And honestly, after listening to Future Thieves’ single, “Sucker” I thought this, too. If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting for some new Jake Miller music for a hot second (OK, only a year, but it feels like forever!). But, now you’re in luck – Jake just released his brand new 10-song album, 2:00am in LA, and it made up for the time we’ve had to go missing his music.

Growing up with a strong passion for blues and classic rock, Cobi is on a path to resurrect the guitar solo. His music is super unique; a bit of gospel with a strong R&B influence mixed with classic rock. Cobi received his first guitar as a gift from a family friend when he was just a kid. He was self-taught, learning to play by ear, and by the age of twelve Cobi knew music is what he wanted to pursue. His musical influences can be traced back to Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Bob Dylan. We sat down with Cobi at Hangout Fest and picked his brain about going viral on Spotify, his upcoming album, and why music should stay in schools.

As an avid cat meme enthusiast, I’m glad Norwegian pop star, Sigrid, can relate. Since breaking the U.S. charts with her single, “Don’t Kill My Vibe,” she’s been to countless cities to perform her music. She’s so humble and credits her team for their hard work and promoting her music on platforms like Apple Music’s Up Next Program. “It’s been really helpful, and most importantly – crazy fun,” she says.

I was beyond nervous to talk to LP, I’ve been almost obsessively listening to her album Lost On You since it came out. I say this without hesitation, it is my favorite album this year and it would take a lot to knock it down. I was so excited to see her at Hangout Fest that I made my friend wait with me for two hours in the burning heat at 2 p.m. because I just HAD to be front and center. It was an amazing performance, LP delivering those crazy vocals flawlessly, twirling her microphone in the air and casting a spell over the entire audience. I was mesmerized.
