The other day I was at a show with my friend and this guy across from me took an interest in my opinions on music. By “took an interest” I mean he decided to tell me how everything I was saying was stupid and I obviously didn’t know what I was talking about, but since he was older and man he understood ~the industry~ way more than little me. This year has been a big year for ABT LST NT, made up of Eben Franckewitz, Mikey Bromley, Jackson Owens and Jack Taylor – they released their first EP as a foursome in August and have hit a stride on social media through recent mash-ups of songs like Justin Bieber’s Cold Water combined with Ben E. Six years of One Direction and all I have to show for it is… OK, a lot. To be a fan of One Direction, you have to be pretty dedicated, and the dedication turns into a whole lot of time, effort and money toward what some people call a “silly boy band.” But, us #Directioners know that’s far from the truth.
