It’s been 10 days since my reputation tour and it’s taken me this long to put into words the impact of seeing Taylor live after 3 years. I’ve been a Swiftie since I was 16, and now at 28, the only thing that’s changed is the admiration I have for Taylor. From her self-titled debut album to reputation, I grew up with each era she released. When all my friends changed from year to year, Taylor was the one constant I had. Her music was always there when I needed it.
With news of their first headlining tour, we got the chance to check out lovelytheband in Nashville and at Hangout Festival. lovelytheband hit the stage just as the sun started to set and the venue came alive with more fans. Opening with “Make You Feel Pretty” the band set the scene with the song giving off a similar vibe to the time of night and finally for us in Nashville, great weather.
Franz Ferdinand is touring for their 2018 album Always Ascending and it’s fitting for the wave of fans who are still clamoring for more from the Scottish based indie rock favorites. They’ve been an international success since their debut single “Take Me Out” flooded every form of media in 2004.
